Indoor Air Quality Association 2022 National Convention

Challenge:

The Indoor Air Quality Association determined their National Convention would take place as an in-person only event in February 2022.  Just coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic and the potential for a winter surge, the planning would require a generous portion of extra planning and courage.  IAQA chose to partner with AMP Event Group to provide audio visual services for their in-person conference with an added recording solution to post on their website for members who could or would not attend their annual meeting in Tucson, Arizona.  The conference was multiple days, with 4 concurrent breakout sessions and general session main stage. AMP needed to produce a stage, lighting and scenic design that would provide an upgraded level of production and aesthetic that would match their brand identity. 

Solution:

AMP conducted a site inspection at the Westin La Paloma and executed pre-conference meetings and created a content management process for the meetings department and coordinated access to space and set up with the internal hotel team.  Additionally, AMP worked with a fantastic local partner and regional technical team. The four-day conference included four general sessions with scenic and full ballroom projection and sound system and over 80 breakouts sessions were recorded for on demand CE opportunities. 

Outcome:

AMP exceeded the IAQA conference expectations in every area by working through difficult challenges and delivering at every meeting room promptly and providing onsite and remote project management to create a seamless and organized conference. AMP was also able to provide a superior technical lead with the experience to drive a highly consistent level of service we execute in all our events. As a result, AMP Event Group became the preferred partner of IAQA and we look forward to flawlessly executing the next few years of service.
